Frequently Asked Questions
Why doesn't data transfer correctly with iCloud?
iCloud can either seem easy or extremely frustrating. If you are having issues try the following:
iPhone/iPad
Mac
iPhone/iPad
- Are both devices running the same iOS version?
- Make sure all devices are using iCloud Drive. The old iCloud and iCloud drive are incompatible with each other and won’t sync.
- Are all devices on wifi? By default cellular connections do not sync app data on devices.
- Are both devices logged into the same iTunes account for iCloud?
- Do you have enough iCloud storage?
- Make sure that iCloud document storage is enabled for the app: General device settings -> iCloud -> iCloud Drive -> Find the app and make sure it’s enabled.
- Try deleting the file in iCloud: Go to General Settings, iCloud, Storage, Manage Storage, select the app, hit edit, and then Delete.
- Sign out and back into iCloud: General Settings, iCloud, scroll to the bottom, Sign Out, and then Sign In.
- Several users have reported that deleting and reinstalling the app has fixed iCloud issues. Do this at your own risk as you will lose your local data on the device when you delete the app!
Mac
- Make sure that you are using iCloud Drive. The old iCloud and iCloud drive are incompatible with each other and won’t sync.
- Make sure you are logged into iCloud with the same account as the one on all your mobile devices.

- Are you on Wifi?
- Try purging the Prayer Notes data document. System Preferences -> iCloud -> Manage Storage. Find Prayer Notes, Delete Documents and Data.
- Several users have reported that deleting and reinstalling the app has fixed iCloud issues. Do this at your own risk as you will lose your local data on the device when you delete the app!
How do I restore in-app purchases?
- Make sure you are logged into the same iTunes account you made the original purchase with.
- On the in-app purchase page press the “Restore” purchase button.
- If that does not work you can use the purchase button again. It should download without charging your card.
- If you do end up getting charged twice you’ll need to request a refund from Apple. The following are instructions found on Google: http://www.imore.com/how-to-get-refund-itunes-app-store
