  • Set up to three bike bells for easy access
  • Add custom .mp3's for new and fun bike bells
  • Track statistics such as speed, overall pace, distance, elevation gain
  • Record and save maps of your biking route along with speed along each leg
  • Save and export logs for further analysis
The Bell
On the bell tap there are three bell buttons, center, left and right. You can set all three to have different unique sounds by going to the "Settings" tab in the top right.
  • Play Bell Sound - On Press: When you tap the buttons ring the bell, While Moving: The bell will ring while motion is detected, Always: The bell will constantly ring. If While Moving or Always is selected, the right and left bell buttons will be disabled.
  • Sound Selection - Select which bell you want to set.
  • User Added Sounds - Custom sounds added by the user
Adding Custom Bells
Bike bell supports most sound file formats. There are multiple ways to add custom sounds

Finder File Sharing
  • You can load music files by placing them into the shared folder using a Mac's finder application.
  • File Sharing How To Documentation: support.apple.com/en-us/HT210598

Files App
  • If you have sound files saved in the File app you can move files directly to the Bike Bell file folder.
  • File Sharing How To Documentation: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT206481

Share
  • The app is associated with most audio files. Select the file, hit share, and find the Bike Bell App.

Download Music Files From Safari
  • Find a sound file from Safari
  • Download/save it to your Files app: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT206481
  • Tap and hold the file, select "Share", find "Bike Bell", and save to the app.

If a sound file is shared with the app, you will have a chance to update/change the music file name. Make sure the name is unique, or the file will be ignored if another file exists with that name. You can update the file names from the Bell Settings page, or manually from outside the app by either using the Finder File Sharing or from the Files App.
