This Privacy Policy applies to all of our children's apps published in the Apple App Store Kids Category (our "Kids Apps"). These apps are made for children and families and are built to be private by design. We do not collect any personal information, we do not show ads, and we do not use any third-party analytics or tracking. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly how our Kids Apps handle information.
The short version: Our Kids Apps collect nothing about you. There are no ads, no accounts, no logins, and no third-party services. Everything you create in an app stays on your device, and — if you are signed in to iCloud — in your own private iCloud account, which only you can access.
Scope
This policy covers every app we publish in the Apple App Store Kids Category, including (for example) Would You Rather Kids and any future children's titles we release in that category. Some of our other, non-kids apps are covered by a separate general privacy policy; this policy governs our Kids Apps.
Information We Collect
None. Our Kids Apps do not collect, transmit, or store any personal or identifying information. We do not ask for a name, email address, phone number, location, photos, contacts, or any account sign-up. The apps can be used fully without providing any personal information.
No Advertising
Our Kids Apps are completely ad-free. They contain no advertising, no ad networks, and no advertising identifiers (such as the IDFA). Nothing in the apps is used to build a profile of you or your child or to serve targeted content.
No Analytics or Tracking
We do not use any analytics or tracking tools of any kind in our Kids Apps — no third-party analytics SDKs, no usage tracking, and no cookies. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not measure your activity.
No Third-Party Services
Our Kids Apps integrate no third-party software libraries or services. They use only Apple's own operating-system features (for example, Apple's in-app purchase system and Apple's iCloud). No data is shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third party for any purpose.
Data You Create in the App
Content you create or activity within an app — such as favorites, any custom items you make, your progress or history, and your settings — is stored locally on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, this data may also be mirrored to your own private iCloud account using Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) so it can stay in sync across your personal Apple devices.
This information lives entirely within your device and your personal Apple account. It is never sent to us, and we cannot access, view, or receive it. iCloud syncing is handled by Apple and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). If you are not signed in to iCloud, your data simply stays on your device.
Read-Aloud (Text-to-Speech)
Where an app offers a read-aloud feature, it uses your device's built-in speech synthesis to read content out loud. This happens entirely on your device; no audio or text is recorded, uploaded, or sent anywhere.
Purchases
Optional purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment information. Purchases are subject to Apple's Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
Children's Privacy
Our Kids Apps are designed for children and are intended for the Apple App Store Kids Category. Consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Apple's requirements for kids apps, our Kids Apps do not collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Purchases and any links that leave an app are placed behind a parental gate.
Data Retention and Deletion
Because we collect nothing, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our end. You are always in control of your own data: deleting an app removes its on-device data, and you can manage or remove iCloud-synced data at any time in your device's iCloud settings.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Because our Kids Apps collect no data, we do not expect material changes to how information is handled.
