​About

This app was created to help shoppers estimate ahead of time how much items will cost and how much will be saved during a sale.​
Features include an easy to input calculator with sales and tax inputs.
  • A shopping list that will keep track of multiple items and sum totals for all items.
  • Editing/Exporting of shopping list.
  • Coupon reminders and paper coupon image capture.
  • A tax reference guide to give an idea of the local tax rate (US only).
Calculator
Navigate to the "Calc" tab found on the lower tab bar.
  1. Tap the various boxes to input values into the calculator.  Start with the original price and sales tax rate.  Then input the discounts (either % or $ off the original price).  
  2. Press done and the final will be calculated at the bottom.
  3. “Before” tax is the cost less discounts but before tax.
  4. “Tax” is tax on the discounted item.
  5. “Total” is the final out the door cost of the item.
  6. Pressing “Add To List” will put the item into the “List” tab.
List
The shopping list contains items that have been saved.  It shows the original prices and the discounts.
  • The total original price + tax, discount price + tax, and the total savings are shown at the bottom.
  • “Edit List” will allow individual items to be removed, edited, and re-ordered.
  • “Clear List” will clear the entire shopping list.
  • “Export” will allow the shopping list to be export to HTML or CSV via e-mail.
Coupons & Tools
The Coupons feature, located under the "Tools" tab, allows the creation of sales/coupon reminders.  You can set reminder dates, take images of coupons, and write notes about upcoming store sales. 
  • Tap the “Edit” button to delete, modify, or rearrange entries.
  • Enable/Disable the switch to turn on and off sale reminders.
  • “Clear” will remove all reminders.
  • Tapping the image (if one was taken) will display a magnified view of the image.
  • Tap the “Add” button to create a new reminder.  Enter a title, details, optionally take an image of a coupon, and optionally set an expiration date.  Save the new entry.

Tax Guide

NOTE: This is only a guide!  It is not guaranteed to be accurate or definitive.  It is meant for estimating only.
  • Tax guide is for general items only (does not include beverages, food, services, etc).
  • Guide is sorted by State, shows the State tax, and the sum total tax for the largest city in that state (county + city + state).
  • Tap on the line item to auto populate the calculator with tax rate.

Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

  1. Go to "Settings". At the top you can quickly tell if the app is activated or if the subscription has expired.
  2. Under "Settings" tap the "Details".
  3. Select the purchase you'd like to make and press "Buy".
  4. Enter your Apple ID and Password.
  5. Confirm purchase and wait for processing.
  6. If your have previously purchased the product but have lost the purchase on the device click “Restore” and input your Apple ID and Password to restore the purchase.
  7. NOTE: You must purchase the product with the same Apple ID that you used to download the App.
  8. You can manage your subscriptions by pressing the "Manage Subscriptions" button
  9. You can view and update your billing information by pressing the "View Billing Info" button.
